Over the years, television has radically evolved in how it depicts crime. The audience is no longer satisfied with plain police investigations; they like a complex plot that can develop psychological themes and complex moral personalities. Something has always been different with the Dexter franchise: a serial killer operating within a code of honor and towing a middle-of-the-road line between his house/office and his real life. The plot of Dexter is picked up after the original series and sequel with Dexter: Resurrection, which returns one of the television show’s signature villains. The article will give you all the information about the Cast of Dexter: Resurrection, release date, production, episodes and characters.

Plot
This story kicks off almost 10 weeks after Dexter: New Blood ended. The gun shot wound saved Dexter Morgan but leaves him in a coma. Just after he recovers, he finds out that Harrison had disappeared to New York City.
As Dexter is searching for his son, he comes to realize that he may not be able to get away from his past. Former colleagues and investigators start converging on him and new enemies rear their ugly heads in New York. Dexter must struggle to survive, to keep secrets while also having the hard challenge with his dark passenger.
There is also a lot of attention put on Harrison Morgan in the series. Harrison is troubled by violent instincts that parallel his father’s, and is confronted with moral issues. The father and son bond takes center stage of the show.
The story gets broader than last season, featuring more sinister upfront serial killers and the expansion of the criminal networks. Issues of guilt, identity, justice, and family resonate throughout the story.
